Get your heart rate up for an hour moving to salsa, merengue, samba, cumbia, reggaeton, hip hop, flamenco and more. Build confidence in a variety of Latin rhythms while burning hundreds of calories.
Improve your muscle tone, balance, flexibility in a non-impact approach that uses high repetition of small ballet and isometric movements targeting all muscle groups, to a blend of classical, pop, r&b, jazz and world music.
You Can Dance (YCD) is an African inspired fitness class that focuses on simple dance moves, such as Azonto, Galala, Shoki, Makossa, Twerking, Whining, etc. YCD is where fitness is redefined and is perfectly blended into a dance class. Each class focuses on building and strengthening different muscle groups; some classes will give students the option to use light weights. The classes are structured into 3 segments: stretching and flexibility, warm-up, and dance workout. YCD fitness class incorporates current African and upbeat Caribbean music that is sure to burn off fat, increase endurance, and create an atmosphere of fun where you won’t even know that you are working out.
