At Dance Loft on 14, we strive to enable efficient bookings and reasonably-priced studio space. There are two ways to rent with Dance Loft: as a Casual Renter (recommended for one-time or occasional bookings) or as a Member.

CASUAL RENTERS (Non-members)

For One-Time
REHEARSAL
(and all not-for profit studio use)
No Annual Membership Required
Booking Fee: $50.00 per rental 

Hourly Studio Rates:
Studio 1 = $80.00 per hour
Studio 2 = $70.00 per hour
Studio 3 = $55.00 per hour
Studio 4 = $45.00 per hour
Conference Room/Studio 5 = $40.00 per hour

For One-Time CLASS/WORKSHOP
(and all for-profit studio use)
No Annual Membership Required
Booking Fee: $75.00 per rental 

Hourly Studio Rates:
Studio 1 = $100.00 per hour
Studio 2 = $90.00 per hour
Studio 3 = $60.00 per hour
Studio 4 = $50.00 per hour
Conference Room/Studio 5 = $45.00 per hour

Groups larger than 19 must use studios 1 or 2. Special events or rentals over 50 people require a custom rental quote. Please reach out to our team!

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

  • Day-time rentals (M-F 9pm - 5pm) receive a 20% discount on studio rates!

 

Rehearsal MEMBERSHIP

For rehearsals, and all not-for-profit studio use, including individual artists, incorporated collectives, or small nonprofits

Annual Membership fee: $125 per calendar year

Includes marketing and box office support
Hourly Studio Rates:
Studio 1 = $58.00 per hour
Studio 2 = $50.00 per hour
Studio 3 = $43.00 per hour
Studio 4 = $30.00 per hour
Conference Room/Studio 5 = $25.00 per hour

TEACHING Artist MEMBERSHIP

For teaching artists hosting classes or workshops, small for-profit organizations, and all for-profit studio use

Annual Membership Fee: $165.00 per calendar year

Includes marketing and box office support
Hourly Studio Rates:
Studio 1 = $70.00 per hour
Studio 2 = $65.00 per hour
Studio 3 = $50.00 per hour
Studio 4 = $40.00 per hour
Conference Room/Studio 5 = $30.00 per hour

Professional Artist Discount (M-F 9pm - 5pm) Hourly Studio Rates:*
Studio 1 = $50.00 per hour
Studio 2 = $44.00 per hour
Studio 3 = $35.00 per hour
Studio 4 = $24.00 per hour
Conference Room/Studio 5 = $20.00 per hour

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

For for-profit organizations and nonprofits with annual budgets over $800,000/year, or those using the space for larger functions such as meetings, lectures, and special events

Annual Membership Fee: $200.00 per calendar year

Same studio rental fees as above for rehearsal or class use

* This rate requires advance approval by Dance Loft’s Artistic Director and is for not-for-profit dance and theater rehearsal only, usually in which the performing artists themselves are paid through ticket sales or grants. Eligibility typically includes: individual professional artists or 501-C-3 ensembles rehearsing for a traditional performance in a theater or using in the studio to develop new works for public presentation, or individual. LLCs, dance schools, dance teams, modeling or talent agencies, and for-profits companies are not eligible for the discount. Any activity in which money is changing hands (via class fee, tuition, membership fees, or other) is not eligible for the professional artist/ensemble discount.
