NEW! HIP HOP with Brandon on MONDAYS 8:30pm - 9:30pm (NOW BEGINS on October 20th)
This class is a welcoming space for dancers who want to train, create, and grow together. Designed with professional dancers in mind, it also invites aspiring artists who are ready to challenge themselves and step into a higher level of training! Each class will explore the foundations of hip hop/street styles with a focus on musicality, style, and performance, while encouraging individuality and self-expression. Whether you’re pursuing a career in dance or simply passionate about developing your artistry, this class offers a supportive environment where you can push your skills, connect with others, and celebrate the joy of movement.
Ballet Classes
Beginner Ballet 1 with Ellie (Mon) and Liz (Wed) - Enrollment will be offered at the beginning of the New Year
This class is for those who are just beginning their ballet journey. Our teachers will teach you the foundational steps and kinetics of ballet movement. Enrollment is suggested for this class as it builds from previous classes throughout the year, however the option to drop-in is still available!
Beginner Ballet 2 with Liz (Wed & Sat)
This class is for those who have the basic knowledge of ballet and would like to continue building their technique. This is a great class for those who have taken ballet previously and would like to return to it, or for those who feel like they have grasped the ballet technique and want to be challenged more. We encourage students to consistently take this class as it builds from previous classes throughout the year.
Int/Adv Open MOVEIUS Company Class with Alvaro (Tues) or Diana (Sat)
This is an open company class with the Moveius Company dancers. During class, you will emphasize musicality while also working on advanced steps such as turns and jumps. This class is perfect for upper intermediate, advanced, or professional dancers.
Contemporary & Modern Classes
Beginner Contemporary with Angel (Wed)
Contemporary is a genre of dance that incorporates aspects of movement from ballet, modern, and jazz styles. This beginner level adult class includes a full technique class including floor work and improvisation. Dancers can enhance their technique, artistry, strength, and coordination.
Intermediate Contemporary Floorwork with Angel (Sat)
This Contemporary Floorwork class will incorporate more advanced steps and techniques, placing a higher prominence on floorwork and how to safely achieve these steps.
Horton Technique with Kevin (Sat)
Horton is a modern technique that uses a whole-body, anatomical approach to dance. It encourages students to use strength, flexibility, coordination, and spatial awareness. Previous dance experience is encouraged when signing up for this class.
NEW! Lyrical Contemporary with Yao (Fri)
Contemporary as a genre pulls from many different dance styles, such as modern, ballet, and jazz, finding different connections and making something wholly unique to the artform. Lyrical contemporary takes these connections and blends them into a technique that is expressive and fluid, allowing students to move their bodies and feel good in the studio. Enrollment is encouraged as this is a NEW class being offered, however the option to drop-in is still available!
